Jordan Helm brings recent FBS playing and coaching experience to The Gridiron Linc, serving in a college relations role focused on program connectivity and player alignment.
A former student-athlete at Florida Atlantic, Helm later returned to the program as a defensive analyst before joining the coaching staff at South Florida, where he coached the nickel position. His experience inside multiple staff rooms gives him direct insight into how position coaches evaluate, communicate, and project players within modern defensive systems.
Helm’s background allows him to bridge the gap between athletes and college programs, translating scheme fit, positional value, and staff expectations into practical guidance. His time in coaching provides current, firsthand understanding of how programs operate day-to-day from evaluation processes to meeting room dynamics.
Helm brings a disciplined, relationship-driven approach to his role while maintaining strong ties within the South Florida and collegiate football communities. At The Gridiron Linc, he supports college-facing communication, program outreach, and player positioning within today’s evolving roster landscape.
