Jeff Love brings more than two decades of experience inside college football to The Gridiron Linc, combining executive leadership, roster construction expertise, and a teacher’s mindset into a modern approach to athlete advisory.

Most recently, Love served as Executive Director of Player Personnel at the University of Central Florida under Head Coach Scott Frost. In that role, he oversaw scholarship allocation, transfer portal evaluation, recruiting board construction, and long-term roster planning within a Power Four program. His responsibility was simple but complex: align personnel, finances, and future needs to build sustainable rosters.

Prior to UCF, Love was elevated to Executive Director of Player Personnel / General Manager at Florida Atlantic after initially joining the program as the Director of Player Personnel.

At FAU, he operated in a true front-office capacity, integrating recruiting strategy, NIL considerations, and staff alignment into a unified roster vision.

Love’s career path includes coaching and leadership roles at the University of Kansas, Houston Baptist, the University of the Cumberlands, Santa Margarita Catholic High School (CA), Riverdale High School (FL), and Oasis Charter High School (FL).

At Kansas, he became the first video director in college football history to be promoted to assistant coach mid-season. Later that season, as the play-caller and quarterback coach, he helped guide the Jayhawks to its first Big 12 conference win in nearly two years.

Throughout his career, Love has built programs from the ground up, transitioned offensive systems, mentored award-winning athletes, and implemented operational innovations ranging from recruiting infrastructure to football technology systems.

An educator at heart, Love is known for translating complex roster realities into clear, actionable guidance for players and families. He is relationship-driven, solution-based, and grounded in the belief that sustainable careers are built through preparation, alignment, and honest evaluation.

In early 2026, ahead of The Gridiron Linc’s launch, Love facilitated and negotiated $2.34 million in athlete contracts within a three-week span, demonstrating immediate traction in the representation space.

A native of Punta Gorda, Florida, Love is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Social Science Education. He and his wife, Trista, are raising four children and remain deeply connected to the Florida football community.
